Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) update - iucncongress2020
In light of recent developments in France linked to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), IUCN and the Government of France are in close discussion about the impacts on the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2020. Together, we are carefully considering any decisions that might need to be taken.
The health and wellbeing of participants is our paramount concern and we continue to follow the recommendations of national and international public health authorities concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Should a change take place, we will announce it here and through the Congress newsletter.
Will IUCN refund registration fees due to the coronavirus (COVID-19)?
In the unlikely event that the IUCN World Conservation Congress is cancelled by IUCN or the French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition due to coronavirus or any other force majeure, the registration fees will be fully reimbursed (not reimbursed: bank transfers fees, carbon footprint offset and any other expense related to the registration process).
