COP25: What are the takeaways for Central Africa?
A meeting to decode the findings of the 25th Conference of Parties (COP25) and revise the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) of Central African countries took place from 20 to 24 January 2020 in Bangui, Central African Republic.
Hosted by the COMIFAC Executive Secretariat with the financial support of the GIZ regional project to support COMIFAC, the meeting aimed to: help COMIFAC countries get a better grasp of the findings of COP25, develop a strategy for the sub-region’s participation in upcoming meetings and launch the NDCs revision process to enable the countries to stay current with their obligations as Parties to the UNFCCC.
