Communiqué final Forum sous-régional sur les mangroves en Afrique centrale.pdf (670.8 Ko)
The sub-regional forum on community management of mangrove ecosystems in Central Africa: Stakes and Prospects, took place from 14 to 16 June 2017, in Douala, Cameroon.
The forum was hosted by the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC) and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), with financial support from the Global Environment Fund (GEF) through the Mangrove projects of Cameroon and the Congo. It drew close to sixty participants including representatives of COMIFAC, FAO, Ministries in charge of the Environment, Forests and Wildlife and Territorial Administration of the following countries: Cameroon, Congo and Gabon, as well as representatives of local communities, universities, international organizations and civil society.
