The Central Africa region is dealing with an unprecedented spike in illegal wildlife trade, threatening to unravel the many social, economic and conservation gains that the governments has accomplished through decades of development cooperation.
The International Conference on Illegal Exploitation and Trade in Wildlife and Forest products of Africa provides an opportunity - through the proposed Session on “Combating Illegal Wildlife Hunting and Trade, Central Africa” - to bring together Governments, bilateral and multilateral partners, CSOs, regional cooperation to discuss International & regional cooperation to combat illegal wildlife trade and crimes and to propose concrete solutions to be
implemented to curb down this threat...
