Close to fifty experts from Chad, Cameroon, Gabon, West Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo will meet in December in Kinshasa to reflect on the need to strike a balance between intensified agriculture and forest conservation in the Congo Basin.
Attendees at the workshop hosted by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) will come up with solutions to fight against poverty through agriculture and preservation of biodiversity. The workshop comes just weeks after the Paris climate conference.
