Unfccc: Climate Adaptation, Disaster Risk and Development. Event in Bonn 16 and 17 May
A solutions-focused meeting to identify opportunities to integrate adaptation to climate change, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and disaster risk reduction will take place during the May UN Climate Change Conference.
The meeting will feature experts from the adaptation, development and disaster risk community, national policy-makers, experts, implementers and investors from different regions and sectors will take place om 16 and 17 May.
National adaptation plans (NAPs) will be highlighted as avenues through which countries can successfully pursue their adaptation, disaster risk and development efforts.
As the effects of climate change increase, it will be increasingly important for countries to identify solutions and integrate approaches under different policy frameworks.
