gabonreview : Environment: ODDIG seeks UOB’s expertise
The Observatory for the promotion of sustainable development, products and services of Gabon’s industries (ODDIG) has recently signed an agreement with the Omar Bongo University (UOB), to relaunch the Master and Doctorate programmes with specializations in environmental research.
According to Nicaise Moulombi, the agreement signed by both new partners that came into effect from 4 October will, "revamp the Masters in Environmental Research, Sustainable Development and the PhD of the CEMAC Chair on the environment, which is run by the UOB Department of Geography". In the ODDIG Executive Director’s view, the aim is to "help organise and develop a hub of high level training and research on management-policy-finance applied to renewable and non-renewable natural resources, and climate change", reports the site Gaboninitiatives.com.
