TRAFFIC : Welcome to this week’s wildlife trade news!
Malaysia's Customs department continues to set a high enforcement standard with another two major wildlife seizures just this week - 288kg and 393.5kg of pangolin scales were seized on two separate occasions at Kuala Lumpur airport's cargo warehouse.
In other news, workshops were held in Viet Nam, mainland China, Namibia, Gabon and Zimbabwe, addressing issues including timber trade legality, wildlife smuggling via couriers and wildlife trafficking amongst Chinese nationals living in Africa.
