Cognizant of the importance of joining regional efforts, TI considers that its partnership with the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP) key to achieve its goals and to support related activities undertaken by other stakeholder members of the CBFP.

Transparency International (TI) is a global civil society organization leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 100 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.

Transparency International has 17 chapters in Sub-Saharan Africa and in particular three Chapters among the COMIFAC countries: in Burundi (ABUCO-TI Burundi), in Cameroon (TI-Cameroun) and in Rwanda (TI-Rwanda).
