SWM Programme - Newsletter Issue 3 - July to October 2019
The third issue of the newsletter of the Sustainable Wildlife Management (SWM) Programme has just been published. This issue presents the latest progress in the implementation of the programme from July to October 2019 across the thirteen countries covered by the Programme in the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group of States. It is available for download here.
The SWM Programme is an initiative of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States, financed by the European Union under the 11th EDF and co-financed by the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM) through the RESOURCE project. It has being implemented by a consortium of four partners including: the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Centre for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD), the Centre for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). Technical partners in the RESSOURCE project include CIRAD, the French National Hunting and Wildlife Office (ONCFS), the European Institute for the Management of Wild Birds and their Habitats (OMPO), Wetlands International Africa (WIA), Birdlife International (BI) and the Tour du Valat Research Institute (TdV).
