Douala (Cameroon), 5 to 7 April 2017 - The network of communicators on the environment and information in Central Africa (RECEIAC) held a workshop. The sub regional workshop aimed to strengthen the capacities of journalists and communicators in the field of climate change and REDD+ for sustainable management of ecosystems in the Congo Basin.
Over a 4-day period, journalists from the 6 member countries of the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC), were educated and equipped with the requisite tools for mass information, awareness and communication on climate change and REDD+.
