Happy World Pangolin Day! - Pangolin Conservation in Central Africa
Pangolins are the world’s most heavily trafficked mammals. In 2016, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service launched MENTOR-POP (Progress on Pangolins) in collaboration with the Zoological Society of London to give a voice to Central Africa’s pangolins. Learn more about pangolins, the threats they face, and how policy changes through the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), the MENTOR-POP Fellows, and leadership of the Cameroonian government provides a reason for hope.
