Pacebco-ECCAS-the ADB, ECCAS and COMIFAC address the local and indigenous people’s need for access to drinking water in the Program's target landscapes: 14 drinking water supply points already installed.
Within the framework of the implementation of priority micro projects of PACEBCo's Local Development Fund, fourteen drinking water supply points were recently installed and became operational to serve indigenous and local people in the areas surrounding the protected areas in the Program's target landscapes.
These successful achievements are the response of ADB, ECCAS and COMIFAC to the long expressed need of the populations in these areas for access to drinking water. The latter did not fail to express their great delight as soon as the work was complete, as water flowed from the different boreholes of unquestionable sanitary quality according to analysis reports from the relevant health institutions.
