The strengthening institutional capacities for REDD+ for sustainable management of forests in the Congo Basin Project abbreviated as PREREDD to receive USD 13 million in funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The project is implemented by the World Bank and aims to strengthen the capacities of countries in the sub-region to deal with REDD+ related issues and measure forest carbon stocks using allometric equations.
A national scientific capacity-building workshop on forest biomass data analysis was organized by the PREREDD+ Project from 22 to 24 March 2017 in Ebolowa, Cameroon.
