OSFACO Conference "Satellite Images to foster Sustainable Land Management in Africa"
The overall aim of the conference is to hold a scientific and technical come-together of experts, researchers, teachers, actors of NGOs or consulting firms, and technical departments of State agencies concerned with the use of satellite data for mapping and spatial monitoring of land and forest cover and sustainable development in West and Central Africa.
Specifically, the aim will be to enable beneficiary teams of the OSFACO project and partners to showcase projects implemented and main results obtained and create a consultation framework to share experiences on the methodological approaches needed to make the best use of satellite imagery in improving knowledge of land-use trends and changes.
