The IUCN World Conservation Congress 2020-Nature: essential to achieving global goals, Marseille, France
A healthy natural world is essential for humanity’s success. At the United Nations, nature is increasingly on the agenda, including at two summits the UN is holding alongside its General Assembly meeting this month, one on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and another on climate action. As these articles from policy leaders show, nature has many roles to play, whether the goal is achieving the SDGs by 2030 or addressing the climate crisis before it is too late. The IUCN World Conservation Congress 2020 will help define those roles and inspire the bold action the world needs.
