Launch of ABS project in DRC, the Congo and Cameroon
The activities of the "Implementation of Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit-sharing (ABS) in COMIFAC countries" have entered their implementation phase in the different countries. To date, 3 countries have already held their launch workshops for the ABS COMIFAC-GIZ project: they are the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Congo and Cameroon respectively on 28 and 29 January in Kinshasa, 4 and 5 February 2016 in Brazzaville and finally 14 and 15 March 2016 in Douala.
