C. France24's Down to Earth Discusses Chimpanzee Snare Removal Program in Uganda - The trailer below is a preview of a longer segment that France 24 recently aired covering efforts to remove wildlife snares that often catch chimpanzees. Specifically discussing the efforts of the Budongo Conservation Field Team in Uganda, with whom the Jane Goodall Institute partners, this video highlights how individuals who were previously hunters have become partners in conservation, and protectors of not only chimpanzees but all wildlife in the forests. With their efforts, the prevalence of wildlife snares has dramatically decreased. Click here to watch the full feature on France 24.
