The Central African Biodiversity Working Group (GTBAC) held its twenty-fifth session from 24 to 26 April 2017 in Douala, Republic of Cameroon. Organized by the COMIFAC Executive Secretariat with technical and financial support from the COMIFAC support projects of the German Cooperation (GIZ) and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the meeting brought together the CBD and Cartagena Protocol Focal Points of the COMIFAC countries, namely: Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, CAR, DRC and Chad, representatives of GIZ, JICA, international organizations and civil society including IUCN-PACO, REFADD, REPALEAC, REJEFAC and members of the COMIFAC Executive Secretariat as well as the National COMIFAC Coordination of Gabon, representing all the National COMIFAC Coordinations within GTBAC.
