IPCC Special Report reflects urgency of better land management to combat climate change

A new special report released Thursday by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has concluded that better land management is necessary to tackle climate change. “In response to such challenges, the GEF has secured $430 million for its FOLUR Impact Program, which aims to help transform the food and land use system,” said Naoko Ishii, CEO and Chairperson of the GEF.  Read more

From Ridge to Reef: learning from holistic best practice

More than 150 people from 17 countries gathered in Fiji for the GEF's Pacific Expanded Constituency Workshop (ECW) to meet with regional counterparts, review GEF strategies, and discuss policies, procedures, and experiences from GEF projects.
