Global Canopy Programme is launching a new country profile on the REDD desk
The Global Canopy Programme is launching a new country profile for Sierra Leone on the REDD desk. To access the country information, go to www.theredddesk.org/countries.
The Global Canopy Programme’s (GCP) Internet platform – the REDD Desk – (www.theredddesk.org) was launched in late 2009 as a centralised and collaborative, multi-language knowledge platform to disseminate information on REDD+ readiness. The REDD Desk now includes information on REDD+ readiness in 21 tropical countries around the world summarised across a range of areas including policies, plans, legal frameworks, statistics, activities and financing.
The database is already the single largest online library of REDD activities globally and works with a global network of developed and developing country partners engaged in forest conservation.
