An international online FAO conference on the economics of climate change mitigation options in the forest sector begins today. The conference will run over 4 weeks with 6 sessions covering afforestation and reforestation, reducing deforestation and degradation, changing forest management practices, wood energy, green building, and sustainable packaging.
