The guide which received financial backing from the Program for the Promotion of the Certified Forest Exploitation (PPECF) and the French Development Agency (AFD), is part of the ATIBT’s marketing program: it is a tool that promotes certified African species in Europe.
It is intended for European users of African wood, as well as all timber sector professionals. The first part provides technical information on material derived from tropical timber, highlighting its outstanding benefits, while the second section presents a host of works in which tropical timber has proven its worth and describes the species used to build them.
You can order hard copies from Patrick Martin for 15 euros: patrick.martin@atibt.org
