It is never too late to do the right thing… and even to be accountable, especially when you are a bank! Twenty-six international banks recently announced their support for the sustainable development goals.
A global benchmark for sustainable banking services coming up soon?
The banking institutions, all members of the United Nations Environment Finance Initiative (UNEP-FI), say they want to establish a global benchmark for responsible and sustainable banking. The joint initiative will be carried out in collaboration with civil society, regulatory authorities and the United Nations.
