COMIFAC: Central African experts receive training on climate finance
The Central African countries which are found in a region known to be especially vulnerable to climate change, need help mobilizing funds, and developing and implementing their climate change mitigation and adaptation policies.
Thus, as part of its mission to assist the countries in meeting their obligations towards the UNFCCC and pursuant to the recommendations of the Ministers of Forestry/Environment, the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC) has identified and put together a list of priority project ideas for the sub-region to be submitted to the funding mechanisms.
