16TH CBFP MEETING: “The CBFP adopts a new governance framework offering better opportunities for dialogue"
For five days, the meeting brought together close to 450 participants from the Congo Basin countries, donors, international organizations, NGOs, representatives of research institutions and the private sector. The agenda featured several technical and political segments which unfolded in a format modeled on those of recent Meetings of the Parties. The technical segments included the "Streams", also known as thematic consultation frameworks, which discussed a range of themes. The meeting equally provided the setting for an exhibition center and several other side events.
