At the beginning of the year 2011, the Facilitation addresses its best wishes to all the partners of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP). May this New Year 2011 be for all as rich, in terms of experiences, and as full of vitality as was the previous year, 2010.

This is an opportunity to warmly thank all CBFP members who relentlessly support the Facilitation team in its dialogue and consultation efforts within our network, in order to improve on the effectiveness of technical and financial contributions for the implementation of the COMIFAC Convergence plan and the Facilitation roadmap.

We know we can rely on the same operating solidarity in the year 2011, a year not like others as we are going to celebrate the international year of forests with challenges such as sensitisation on and strengthening of forest sustainable management, conservation and development of all types of forests. Furthermore, this year is the first part of the Canadian facilitation phase whose roadmap was adopted in September 2010 in Kinshasa.

Time elapses so fast when one is usefully busy! The entire CBFP team wishes full success, progress and prosperity to all the partners in 2011.
