The 18^th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Tri-National Sangha (FTNS) - Sangha Tri-National Trust Fund Limited – was organized from 23 to 24 November 2016 in Bangui (Central Africa Republic).

It was attended by nine directors (reached quorum) and five staff of the Executive Board of the FTNS.

The discussions were very opened and constructive. The debates helped to formulate several recommendations to the Executive Board to an efficient financing of activities planned by the three national parks supported by the FTNS namely the Protected Areas of Dzanga-Sangha (CAR), the National Park of Nouabalé-Ndoki (Congo) and the National Park of Lobéké (Cameroon). In this way, the annual and budgeted work plans (2017) of the FTNS and the three parks have been approved and validated by the directors.

In addition, the directors held discussions with Ms Arlette SOMBO DIBELE, Minister of the Environment, Sustainable Development, Water, Forests, Hunting and Fisheries (MEDDEFCP) of the Central African Republic. The next Board of Directors of the FTNS will take place in Cameroon in May 2017.
