The outgoing (USA) and incoming (European Union) CBFP Facilitations extend season's greetings for 2015 and best wishes for 2016!

best wishes for 2016!Throughout our interactions during the closing year, the ingoing and outgoing CBFP facilitations have appreciated your enriching and multidimensional contributions and proactive commitment, which promoted and enhanced our partnership’s effectiveness. Together, we have made progress! Together, we have raised the Congo Basin's flag high.

A year has nearly gone by, another one begins, and there are many issues and challenges ahead of us in 2016. More specifically, the CBFP will enter a new epoch of its history as the European Facilitation takes office, working closely with the COMIFAC Co-Facilitation. In this respect, the incoming and outgoing CBFP Facilitations are eagerly looking forward to combining our efforts through synergy.

Such a synergy would ensure more efficient pooling of technical and financial contributions from partners and mobilization of the international community for the benefit of the Congo Basin’s forest ecosystems and subregional institutions. Also noteworthy were the support provided by ECCAS - COMIFAC and our partners on the ground for our initiatives, programs, projects. We further commend the latter for their courage and dedication in working "hard" daily to ensure conservation of biodiversity, sustainable management and the well-being of populations.

Thus, during the New Year 2016, the incoming CBFP Facilitation will be looking forward to continue working closely with you, to promote biodiversity conservation, sustainable management of forest ecosystems and the well-being of Central African populations.

This is an ideal opportunity for us to convey our best wishes of happiness, health, success, prosperity for 2016. Overall, we wish you happy holidays for the end and beginning of the year!

We have met all of you and are pleased to work with you!!!...We are partners!

The outgoing (USA) and incoming (European Union) CBFP Facilitations extend season's greetings for 2015 and best wishes for 2016!
