Forest Atlas of Cameroon
In collaboration with Cameroon’s Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife (MINFOF), WRI is pleased to announce the release of the 3rd version of the Forest Atlas of Cameroon. The Interactive Forest Atlas is both an information management tool and an aid to decision makers working to support the sustainable use of forest resources in Cameroon. In addition to updating previous content on forest land use allocation, version 3.0 of the Atlas contains information on mining and agro-industrial plantations in Cameroon.
Version 3.0 of the Forest Atlas is also accompanied by both an online and desktop mapping application to facilitate access to Cameroon’s land use allocation.
Through a new online portal, users can now access both current and historical products of the Cameroon Forest Atlas project, including GIS data, publications and maps.
Users interested in acquiring hard copies of the Atlas report or DVD can do so through either MINFOF or WRI in Yaoundé, Kinshasa or Washington D.C.
