Call for Sessions: 2016 Africa ESP Conference
The first Regional 2016 Africa ESP Conference: Ecosystem Services for SDGs in Africa to be held in Nairobi, Kenya on November 21-25 2016 is accepting session proposals.
The conference will be Africa’s largest event in 2016 that links science, policy and practice on ecosystem services (ES) and natural capital. The central theme ‘Ecosystem Services for SDGs in Africa’ focuses on practice and implementation, which showcases knowledge and research as well as shares working examples from business, land management, policy and local practice.
The conference will bring together African scientists, students, practitioners, policy makers, and the private sector to explore and exchange research as well as action on preserving and restoring ecosystem services in the continent.
Deadline for session proposals: 31 May 2016.
How to submit: Please fill in the session proposal template and send to Judith Nzyoka j.nzyoka@cgiar.org with a CC to Salla Eilola S.Eilola@cgiar.org.
The programme committee will perform a selection to incorporate relevant proposals into the final conference programme.
