The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) presents its compliments to the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife of the Republic of Cameroon as well as International Organizations accredited to the Republic of Cameroon and has the honor to inform both parties that Mr. EPANDA Manfred Aimé, Cameroon Country Coordinator of African Wildlife Foundation was recruited and immediately took office in Yaoundé - Cameroon. AWF is an international non-governmental organization with its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, specially dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and the natural environment with a mission to work together with the people of Africa to ensure that wildlife and wild lands endure forever.
AWF is working in partnership with the Ministry and relevant authorities in the Dja Reserve, and aims to initiate programs in Campo-Ma’an National Park and Faro National Park. AWF intends to implement a national strategy that protects the key biodiversity of the country and develops long-term revenue streams to support the sustainability of biodiversity conservation. Together with the Ministry in charge of Forestry and wildlife, AWF will implement a national strategy to achieve the following five goals:..
