Symposium on Sustainable Development Goals and the Post-2015 Development Agenda - Current International Discussions and Challenges for Implementation

This Environment Research and Technology Development Fund S-11?Beyond MDGs Japan Symposium aims to report on ongoing discussions on the post-2015 development agenda, to consider the possible goals and targets towards 2030, and to look into indicators to assess the progress of implementation. The symposium will also address the challenges of both international and national implementation, which will lead to the discussion of ways of sustainable collaboration among the science community, local governments and the private sector in its realization. Panel discussions will address: Implications for a Post-2015 Development Agenda — Perspectives from Science and Policy; and What needs to be done for implementation in Japan? Registration can be completed via the S-11 (POST2015) website.
