The Tool can be used by tropical forest countries and their partners to quantitatively and qualitatively assess land-use investments’ contribution towards national climate objectives. The approach involves mapping and understanding existing public and private spending in land use, aligning existing and new investments with forest and climate objectives, and tracking changes over time.
