7th Meeting of CBFP Regional Consultative Committee (Douala, Cameroon)
The Facilitation is pleased to announce the 7th Regional Consultative Committee of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (the acronym CCR stands for the French Comitél Consultatif Régional) on May 18 - 19 (morning session), 2009 in Douala, Cameroon at the Hotel SAWA.
In complement to the traditional open exchange sessions we will also organise for the first time a thematic workshop on "The Role of Industrial Logging for Sustainable Forest Management". The workshop will take place right after the regional advisory committee meeting, on May 19 (afternoon) and May 20 (morning).

This calendar is based on information provided by COMIFAC and the Franco-German support office is considered a complementary event schedule to the official calendar posted on COMIFAC's website. (http://www.comifac.org/events). It offers a broad overview of international and regional events that are directly linked to CBFP's objectives: major conferences and meetings, workshops and training sessions and other activities scheduled by CBFP Facilitation and its member organisations.
