Third Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) Ministerial Conference, dates: 10-11 January 2019

 

 

The Third Ministerial Conference of the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) will focus on the theme, 'Advancing Inclusive and Sustainable Economies'.

 

 

The event will bring together approximately 500 innovators and leaders from governments, civil society, private sector, development organizations, media and the general public to advance the debate on how to simultaneously reduce poverty, create jobs, protect the environment and advance the economy. The meeting's agenda will include keynote conversations, parallel sessions, high level panel sessions, and exhibitions addressing the following themes: how to unlock green finance; strategies and policies for green economy; economic and social inclusion; and sustainable consumption and production/circular economy.

 

 

The PAGE Ministerial Conference is co-hosted by the Department of Environmental Affairs of South Africa and the PAGE partners, including UN Environment Programme (UN Environment), International Labor Organization (ILO); UN Development Programme (UNDP); UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
