Open-Ended Committee of Permanent Representatives(OECPR) to UNEP - Second Meeting, venue: UN Office at Nairobi (UNON), UN Avenue, Gigiri location: Nairobi, Kenya
The Open-Ended Committee of Permanent Representatives (OECPR) will meet to prepare the agenda of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA) meeting that will take place in May 2016. The Committee is made up of all accredited Permanent Representatives to the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and is the subsidiary, intercessional entity of UNEA. The Committee is mandated to provide advice to UNEA on policy matters, prepare decisions for adoption by UNEA, and oversee their implementation. The previous OECPR meeting took place in March 2014.
