Resilience in a Time of Uncertainty: Indigenous Peoples and Climate Change

 

 

The conference on Resilience in a Time of Uncertainty: Indigenous Peoples and Climate Change will take place in Paris, France, ahead of the UN Paris Climate Change Conference, from 26-27 November. The conference is organized by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the French National Museum of Natural History, Tebtebba (Indigenous Peoples' International Centre for Policy Research and Education), and the French Presidency of the Paris UN Climate Change Conference. The programme comprises a pre-conference public lecture at Musée de l'Homme, on 25 November, and two conference days, 26-27 November. The conference will bring together indigenous and local community representatives, scientists working with indigenous peoples and local communities, and governments to share case studies, research findings and policies and programmes relating to climate change.
