theIDLgroup - Tropenbos International: The fourth Forest Governance Forum will take place on 11 and 12 September 2012 in Venus Hotel in Kinshasa

Please download the provisory Agenda: HERE

Inspired by the Illegal Logging Update Meetings hosted biannually by Chatham House in London, Forest Governance Forum is designed to create an in-country space for discussion and exchange of ideas, experience and research around Forest Governance and Trade.

The Forest Governance Forum contributes to the broader objective of an EU-funded project, ‘Strengthening African Forest Governance’, led by the University of Wolverhampton.

Blending regional and global speakers and participants from Government, civil society, trade & industry, the NGO community and academia, the Forum presents a unique opportunity to catch up on national and international developments and share thoughts and experiences.

Forest Governance Forum – Kinshasa is being organized by theIDLgroup and Tropenbos International. The event will feature the launch of a new book by Tropenbos exploring Artisanal logging in DRC.

An agenda will be circulated in the coming weeks.

Please register your interest in attending the Forum by contacting ForestGovernanceForum@theIDLgroup.com.

Upcoming Events

Currently there are no events.

This calendar is based on information provided by COMIFAC and the Franco-German support office is considered a complementary event schedule to the official calendar posted on COMIFAC's website. (http://www.comifac.org/events). It offers a broad overview of international and regional events that are directly linked to CBFP's objectives: major conferences and meetings, workshops and training sessions and other activities scheduled by CBFP Facilitation and its member organisations.

Our choice is by no means exhaustive and depends largely on our partners' notice. Every partner organisation is thus welcome to contribute to a rich variety of posted events and to share its schedule with CBFP's Facilitation and the other members! We may also, upon request, forward your input to the COMIFAC webmaster.
