Forest Legality Week 2017 Tuesday, October 17 (12 pm) - Thursday, October 19 (1:30 pm) World Resources Institute10 G Street NE, Suite 800Washington, DC 20002

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Less than a month away, Forest Legality Week is quickly approaching. The formal agenda will span three days, October 17—19, with presentations, panelists, and discussions on topics ranging from private sector experiences in practicing due care, to the implementation of last year’s CITES rosewood listings, to demand-side timber legality developments in Asia. The event will also offer abundant opportunities for participants to acquaint and re-acquaint themselves with new and old friends and colleagues, including two receptions. One of these will be hosted by the Norwegian Ministry of Climate and Environment, a generous donor of WRI.

Please find the latest draft agenda linked below. We encourage you to register before October 5th, after which accommodating additional registrants is not guaranteed due to space constraints, as we have received over 100 registrations already. Also, please be sure to make lodging accommodations soon, since October is high season for conferences and events in Washington.

Closer to the week itself, we will provide registrants with a final agenda, a list of participants, and any other necessary information.

Upcoming Events

Currently there are no events.

This calendar is based on information provided by COMIFAC and the Franco-German support office is considered a complementary event schedule to the official calendar posted on COMIFAC's website. (http://www.comifac.org/events). It offers a broad overview of international and regional events that are directly linked to CBFP's objectives: major conferences and meetings, workshops and training sessions and other activities scheduled by CBFP Facilitation and its member organisations.

Our choice is by no means exhaustive and depends largely on our partners' notice. Every partner organisation is thus welcome to contribute to a rich variety of posted events and to share its schedule with CBFP's Facilitation and the other members! We may also, upon request, forward your input to the COMIFAC webmaster.
