Africa, Caribbean and Pacific countries host a huge share of our planet’s biodiversity. More than 8500 protected areas in these regions deliver environmental goods and services which support sustainable development and the well-being of 3 continents, 79 countries, more than 3 billion people, in addition to the benefits they provide to the world as a whole. Join the Biodiversity and Protected Areas (BIOPAMA) Programme and our numerous partners to celebrate the nature of African, Caribbean and Pacific countries and exchange on solutions to ensure their sustainable development.
