Ruvuma Landscape Coordinator. Location: Tanzania

 

 

The World Wildlife Fund is looking to fill the Ruvuma Landscape Coordinator position. She/He will support the Ruvuma Landscape Trans-boundary Coordination in the promotion of trans-boundary ecosystem conservation and cooperation between Tanzania and Mozambique.

 

 

The Landscape Coordinator will manage, monitor and ensure accountability and adherence to Project Plan/Action Plans with the Conservation Manager or designate.

 

 

She/He will also facilitate assessment of the organizational capacities of partner organizations and plan for appropriate means to ensure a continuous strengthening of organizational capacities for delivery of the conservation program.

WWF-Terms of Reference Evaluation of the Central Africa Regional Forest Program

Due to time constraints and fund, the evaluators will have to travel to Cameroon and DRC and organise emeetings with forest officers and relevant stakeholders in the three other countries of the region. During his/her stay in the region the consultant will have interviews with key partners, including logging companies, forestry ministry officials, professional organisations like ATIBT, local stakeholders (NGOs, CBOs, etc.). The logistics around these meeting will be facilitated by Cameroon and DRC offices. The emeetings with the countries not visited will be facilitated by the RFO in collaboration by countries’ forest officers.
